
Terms & Conditions
1. Services Provided
Monument Heat and Air offers installation, repair, and maintenance services for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Our services include, but are not limited to, diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining HVAC units and related equipment.
2. Quotes and Estimates
- All service requests will be accompanied by a written estimate that includes labor, parts, and other associated costs.
- Estimates provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise specified.
- Final costs may vary if additional labor or parts are required beyond the scope of the original estimate.
3. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted forms of payment include cash and credit card.
- For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Cancellations within less than 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a fee of the service cost.
- The Company reserves the right to reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, equipment failure, or staff availability.
5. Warranties
- Labor warranties are provided for a period of 1 year on repairs up to 10 years on unit replacement from the date of service. Manufacturer warranties apply to all parts and equipment.
- Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, unauthorized repairs, or external factors like weather or power surges.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- The customer agrees to provide access to the property and equipment as needed for the completion of services.
- The customer is responsible for ensuring that the installation area is clear of obstructions prior to service.
7. Liability
- Monument Heat and Air is not responsible for any damage to property unless it is caused by the direct negligence of our technicians.
- In no event shall the Company be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Maintenance Agreements
- For customers who purchase a maintenance agreement, scheduled services will be performed at regular intervals as agreed upon.
- Failure to schedule or keep maintenance appointments may void the agreement or applicable warranties.
9. Dispute Resolution
- In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through informal negotiation.
- If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be submitted to mediation or arbitration before taking legal action.
10. Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of TX, and any disputes arising will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of TX.
11. Changes to Terms
- Monument Heat and Air reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
